The Winter Gardens Trust is delighted to present the third annual Christmas Tree Festival in the Derham Lounge and Grand Vestibule on the 19th & 20th November 2016.
Entries are invited from schools, community groups, businesses or individuals and the trees and decorations may be real, artificial or totally hand-made – all entries will be judged by the general public for the title of the Best Tree.
To enter a tree costs £10 which will be refunded along with the prize to the winning entry.
Literature may be left at the base of your tree but for security issues collecting boxes may not be brought in nor is there room for pop-up banners.
You will need to erect and decorate your tree on Thursday 17th November and remove it on Monday 21st before 4.00pm.
A special entrance day for schools is to be arranged for Friday 18th … nobody advertises better than children when they get home and insist that their parents visit the next day!
Public entry to the Festival is between 11am & 4pm on the 19th & 20th November and £1 per adult – children go free. Santa will be in his grotto in the Derham Lounge plus other activities (there may be an additional charge)
Space is limited and after last year’s huge success we are expecting many more entries but past entries and members will be given the first opportunity.
We do hope you will be interested in joining us in making this Christmas Tree Festival once again an enjoyable success.
