The Winter Gardens Trust was set up to raise awareness of the significance of the spectacular grade II* listed Blackpool Winter Gardens and to support its repair and restoration.

Winter Gardens Trust secretary and Blackpool Council's built heritage officer Carl Carrington presents a short architectural history of the venue recorded for the Blackpool Museum project.

The Winter Gardens Blackpool is made up of a number of individual rooms, each with their own story to tell.

In 2009 the Trust supported publication of "Winter Gardens Blackpool - The Most Magnificent Palace of Amusement in the World." written by Professor Vanessa Toulmin, Director of the National Fairground Archive at the University of Sheffield and a great ambassador for Blackpool.
